You can choose from up to 5 pricing categories, with most properties offering shared bedrooms and common living areas with fellow students. In some cases, private bedroom options are available, providing the privacy of your own room while still sharing the living space with roommates. Please note that none of the properties include private bathrooms.

At Collegiate Housing Services, placement is based on a first-come, first-served basis, which means we cannot guarantee availability at a specific apartment community. However, we can promise that every student is placed in safe, vetted housing near campus.
Due to fluctuating enrollment cycles at our school partners, available properties may change throughout the year. We adjust our housing placements based on demand to make sure every student has a secure and convenient place to live.

More Shared Housing Details
FEES: The $50 Application Fee is non-refundable. The $180 Secure-Your-Spot Fee is refundable up to 30 days before move-in. A deposit may not be required with an approved guarantor.
HOUSING PLACEMENT: Based on the date you pay your Placement Assurance Fee and your school start date.
DISTANCE: All communities are within 25 miles of campus.
APARTMENT SIZE: 2 bedrooms minimum and 3 bedrooms maximum in a shared student apartment.
OCCUPANCY: 2 bedroom apartments are shared by 3-4 students while 3-bedroom apartments are shared by 5-6 students maximum.
SHARED BEDROOM: 2 students per bedroom in a 2-3 bedroom, shared apartment. Maximum occupancy is 4-6 students in a shared apartment.
PRIVATE BEDROOM: 1 student per bedroom in 2-3 bedroom, shared apartment. Limited availability to select communities. Does not include a private bathroom.
BATHROOM: There are no private bathrooms available in any apartment.
INCLUDED: Basic furniture package and basic utility allowance.
SMOKING: No smoking or vaping inside ANY CHS room or shared apartment. Some apartment complexes have no smoking facilities, even outdoors.

How Many People Will Live In An Apartment?
Shared student housing is provided in 2 bedroom apartments with 2-4 occupants and 3 bedroom apartments with 3-6 occupants, depending on availability. There are no private bathrooms.
What Does My Monthly Housing Payment Cover?
I Am Paying For A Private Bedroom. Does That Mean I Get My Own Bathroom?
No. Our Shared Housing Program only provides the option of having a private bedroom. All other areas of the shared apartment are to be shared with your housemates.
I Already Have A Roommate Picked Out. Can I Still Use The Shared Housing Program?
Yes. If you have friends attending the same school who you want to live with, just include their names on your application and make certain that they include you on their applications as well.
What Happens After You Receive My Application?
After we receive your application, we apply our student and military-friendly credit qualifications/terms, then we review your preferences so we can find you a great place to live with roommates you’ll like to hang out with. The review process typically takes a few weeks. Once you’re approved, we’ll send information and reminders about every 45 days to help you get ready for move-in day. Please keep everything together. You’ll need it for move-in.
What is included in a furnished apartment?
Apartment configurations may vary but typically include living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, twin beds, heat and air conditioning with budgeted utility costs included, most include dishwashers and full-size appliances. All you need are the essentials – food, cookware, clothes, linens, and cleaning supplies. Apartment communities typically feature on-site laundry facilities, clubhouses, swimming pools and/or exercise facilities.
