Shared student housing is provided in 2 bedroom apartments with 2-4 occupants and 3 bedroom apartments with 3-6 occupants, depending on availability. There are no private bathrooms.

No. Our Shared Housing Program only provides the option of having a private bedroom. All other areas of the shared apartment are to be shared with your housemates.
Yes. If you have friends attending the same school who you want to live with, just include their names on your application and make certain that they include you on their applications as well.
After we receive your application, we apply our student and military-friendly credit qualifications/terms, then we review your preferences so we can find you a great place to live with roommates you’ll like to hang out with. The review process typically takes a few weeks. Once you’re approved, we’ll send information and reminders about every 45 days to help you get ready for move-in day. Please keep everything together. You’ll need it for move-in.
Apartment configurations may vary but typically include living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, twin beds, heat and air conditioning with budgeted utility costs included, most include dishwashers and full-size appliances. All you need are the essentials – food, cookware, clothes, linens, and cleaning supplies. Apartment communities typically feature on-site laundry facilities, clubhouses, swimming pools and/or exercise facilities.

Residents will enter a lease with their chosen apartment community or house. These are usually unfurnished apartments or homes and the rental amount does not include utilities.
Probably, but this is up to your chosen landlord. If you have a friend who you want to live with, just include their names on your referral housing questionnaire. You will likely both need to apply for the apartment or house that you want to rent.
After we receive your completed questionnaire, we review your preferences so we may assist you with finding a great place to live. A CHS Housing Consultant will contact you to review options that meet your preferences. After you’ve decided, you will need to apply with your chosen landlord who will review your application. The review process typically takes a few weeks. Once you’re approved, please circle back and let CHS know what you’ve decided. We’ll be entering your name into a drawing for door prizes!

You will likely need to bring your own furniture and sign up with the appropriate utility companies. Apartment communities typically include kitchen appliances, on-site laundry facilities, clubhouses, swimming pools and/or exercise facilities. Most, but not all, houses will include appliances but no laundry facilities, etc. Your CHS Housing Consultant can help you identify what is included in the housing options that we list in our referral program. Don’t forget to bring cookware, bathroom items, linens, and cleaning supplies.
